Welcome to the new site!

Hello friends!

It has been quite a minute since I updated the blog with a new post. I am assuming most of you have been following me on Instagram in the meantime. And you may have noticed that it has been quite the year for me.

On one hand - it was the best year. I got engaged and married to my wonderful spouse and the whole thing was so lovely. On the other hand - it was the worst year. I lost my best friend tragically and suddenly in February. It’s been really really hard to navigate that. I have never lost anyone that close to me before. He was such an important person in my life for 14 years - half of my lifetime. We grew up together and I thought we would grow old together.

I have shared periodically on my stories about navigating grief (saved as a highlight). And to be honest, I am still in the thick of it. I am dealing with depression and PTSD from the grief and that has sucked a lot of my creativity and motivation this year. Which means I have been neglecting not only this blog but also my other hobbies like sewing and crafting. I have also been posting a lot less on my Instagram this year - once or twice a week instead of nearly daily.

But I am feeling a little more grounded the past few weeks and have been really enjoying redesigning my website (I actually started this back in February) and thinking about how I want to operate my page and this space going forward.

So! Here we are. The new website.

It is quite similar in content to the old one with one new addition - services! I have been asked every now and again if I would be open to doing some 1:1 coaching and I am happy to report that I am ~ slowly ~ getting into it!

This is a brand new thing for me. Well, I have worked as a consultant for a long time - just not in this type of content and information. So it’s quite open-ended right now. Part of the reason why is because I want to know what kinds of things you all would like my help with! So the “services” page is in progress and ever-evolving.

We can chat about style, shopping, social media, and even getting assistance with your own website or blog! I am quite open to topics, so feel free to reach out via email if there is something you may be interested in working together on, even if it’s not explicitly mentioned.
